The Catholic League took out an ad in the New York Times today that you can read here on the Catholic League's website if the text above is too small for you.

Hilariously, this is not the ad the Catholic League wanted to run. The ad the Catholic League wanted to run is here. The ad they wanted to run has quotes from Savage like, "I betcha the pope's ass is leaking all over the throne of St. Peter right now." Also, jokes about the Virgin Mary's hymen, a sex act called the Cardinal George, and more.

I didn't realize that the ABC sitcom that Savage is producing, The Real O'Neals, is about to air. It either airs in two days, like it says on The Real O'Neal's Twitter feed, or it airs on March 8, like it says in the New York Times ad. I bet you it's in two days. Martha Plimpton, who plays the mom in the show, says the show premieres in two days.

Either way, Savage never told any of us in the office. He's weirdly shy about his TV projects, and he's been out of the office for a week, Slogging from God knows where.

So I just want to thank you, Catholic League, for letting me know about The Real O'Neals! I'll be sure to watch!
