"The last person that Hillary Clinton wants to face is Donald Trump". I don't blame her. I'm absolutely sick of the sight of his ugly orange face. It's the thing of nightmares. If I had to face him in person, I think I'd ask Harry Reid if I could borrow his dark glasses.
Oh, I'm pretty sure Clinton would be more than happy to face Drumpf - as many times as she can get away with (although I'm pretty sure only definition #1 would apply)...
Was Fox as pointedly anti-Trump as this makes it sound, or was more balanced-looking? I mean, he needs the most fact-checking, but it's an interesting development.
Cruz is the real danger. If he's the nominee, Clinton will have a hard time. I'm pretty sure there are enough nasty fundies in this country to vote him in.
7:39 "Donald has a tenuous relationship with the truth," says Cruz, and Trump immediately tries to interrupt. Cruz openly mocks him. "I know it's hard not to interrupt but breathe, breathe, breathe," he says. "When they're done with yoga, can I get a word in?" says Marco. "I hope there's no yoga," says Cruz. "Maybe Donald can try, since he's so flexible," says Marco, winning that round.
With actual real words like that, there's just no point doing Bad Lip-Reading of these guys any more :-(
Every time the Donald seemed to be on his heels tonight, I kept willing "Finish him!" to no one in particular. Karate Kid or Mortal Kombat, so long as Drumpf is on the receiving end, it wouldn't particularly matter.
the real question...did any of that shitshow matter? my wife and i certainly agreed that trump did terrible, and it seemed like the whole thing was an attempt by fox news to kill the monster they destroyed. but so far nothing has been able to hurt the guy.
@16: It did matter in regards to the final question presented by Chris Wallace: "Would you support Donald Trump if he is the nominee?"
Cruz, Rubio, and Kasich all answered yes. Here's a clip of that.
Party loyalty is a moot point when the leading candidate threatens to subvert the constitution, promote religious and racial bigotry, and a host of other jaw dropping things. Had one of them had the guts to say NO! and stand up for humanity and our country's founding principles - the headlines today would be screaming about finally a way to stop Trump's nomination.
But, in the final analysis, you're right - it didn't matter.
@19- I heard Rubio on NPR this morning and he kept calling Trump a "vulgarian". It's accurate, but I think to the average Trump voter they might be thinking that Vulgaria where Ivana was from.
it seems like muted Trump's mic sometimes? he's done very well just shouting over people. but it seems his lips were moving but no sound when cruz was telling him to breathe. BUT rubio still had a hot mic! talk about a setup.

"Bloated" or "Vain" or "Boor" or "Comb-over" would have worked too, but those words are pretty hard for a Republican voter to understand.
