Whereas this isn't necessarily a mental health situation, it could also be drug induced or just a man with a grievance. I think it's fair to say there will be some mental health issues that come to light here, and he may be institutionalize do for two weeks so he doesn't harm himself, then he'll be released.

We desperately need complete health in this country: physical, mental, environmental.

he's tearing off branches from the crown of a Seattle Exceptional Tree, a beautiful, healthy Sequoia, probably the nicest tree downtown. it isn't funny any more.

If he's damaging the tree, they should start shooting him with bean bags until he either comes down or falls to his death. I don't condone tree vandalism.

It's a tree. It sits out there in the elements all the time. The guy may be tearing parts of it, but other than making it less aesthetically pleasing to some people's eyes, I don't think he's doing it any harm.

@17: mine too. he was up there 3 days, getting dive-bombed by a murder of crows. the dude with a logging rig I hired to go get him had to dodge "ah, my nightmare is over" cat poop.

this guy will be down soon enough. everyone poops.
