So following the logic of your sarcasm, you expect—based on this trailer—that Rogue One is going to be a steaming pile of shit? I thought the trailer was quite good.
@2 Go back to your closet, nerd-troll. Think about who brought you into this world (a woman--presumably. Unless you're some sort of weird science experiment like in the movie "Junior").
Think about the female teachers you had growing up, and everything they taught you (or maybe you didn't learn anything from them).
And think about the fact that, well, the last Star Wars movie was probably the best one since "Empire". And it had an awesome female lead. Maybe you didn't see it because you're a dumbass. I don't know. I don't really want to spend any time trying to figure out why you feel the way you do; suffice it to say that you've got some work to do if you hope to be a decent human being (a perfectly reasonable goal, as far as I can tell).
@2
All hail the greatest Sci-Fi female lead Ellen Louise Ripley.
Sci-Fi was changed by casting a female lead in Alien it equalized and fixed a major problem with Sci-Fi. It used to be that men saved everything and women just screamed at the creature. Ridley Scott gave Weaver the part and it was the best thing.
@2
Also if you look at the original STAR WARS film. Luke is a bumbling naive twit who eventually gets his hand lobed off by his totally dysfunctional dad. Two whacked out males. Who has their shit mostly together in all this male dominated craziness? Leia!
It is a running theme in these films.
Seems everything that comes out of Disney Star Wars related these days has a female lead.
