I'm pretty sure that building is still there, at the corner of 2nd Ave Extension and South Washington Street. I've always admired that balcony. The building in the modern view is just to the east of it.
Across the street is the building that was Lou Graham's Sporting House. It would make a grand McMenamin's, but unfortunately the Union Gospel Mission has their claws in it, and aren't likely to let go.
@Catalina, yeah the building is still there, 208 S. Washington https://www.google.com/maps/@47.600876,-… Always loved that balcony as well. When I lived nearby in the 2000s the ground floor was the Mantra nightclub which could occasionally make for an interesting evening...
