The Irish pop singer whose fame was established by a 1990 cover of a tune, "Nothing Compares 2 U," written by a pop star who died last month, Prince, is missing. The story: Sinéad O'Connor went for a bike ride yesterday morning in a Chicago suburb and has not returned or been seen since. There is some noise about her being suicidal. This is only the most recent example of O'Connor's mental health difficulties flaring up in public (like the time she advertised online for a lover into anal sex, or the time she posted a suicide note to her Facebook page, or the time she accused Arsenio Hall of scoring drugs for Princeand Arsenio sued). Let's hope it ends well.
