The worst thing that can happen to any writer has happened to Arianna Rebolini, senior editor at Buzzfeed, who visited our shores the weekend before last: she lost her notebook. But not just any old notebook. THE notebook. The one with all the notes for a book she's writing.

For any writer, THE notebook is a holy text. All the ideas are in there, all the character sketches, all the possible plot points, all the little literary buds you want to bloom into full-on bliss. Losing it is like losing your tongue.

At any rate, let's help her out! She was staying at the HI Seattle hostel in the ID. She lost a white, Mead 5-Star notebook. You remember the Mead notebook. That was the cool one to have in high school. It has a white plastic-y cover with a folder inlay. And, according to her lost and found Craigslist ad, "On the inside you will see an index and then headings like 'Emily & Nathan's relationship' and 'DAY TWO' and 'SSWW.' You will also see fully written pages which are then completely X-ed out with giant 'NOs' covering them. What you won't find is any contact info for me, and I will rue this fact until my dying day."

If you find it, she's offering "$$$$" and acknowledgment in the book that may result from those notes.

If you do come across it, simply reply to the Craigslist ad.
