There is no way you would have to actually step in dogshit to find a Pokemon. The radius where they show up on your screen is way too big to force you to stand in such a specific spot. That person is either really dumb or lying.

The wife and I drove up to a graveyard round midnight to look for Ghost Pokemon. Got one on the radar, could not find it after twenty minutes of wandering between the graves. Oh well.

I'm happy that people are having fun doing this, and happy they're forming little communities, social groups, whatever.

That said, I like listening to these people talk about their hobby as much as I like vegans talk about being a vegan.
