Ted Cruz "is a baby and should be treated like one." HG

Heidi and I had just wandered out of the hotel hosting RNC delegates from California, and we needed to find a place with less oppressive air conditioning to watch Ted Cruz speak. An alert had popped up on our phones telling us that Ted Cruz wasn't going to be endorsing Donald Trump, so his speech promised to be one of the juiciest moments of the entire convention.

In the interest of time, we eventually settled on a sidewalk near some convention barricades. We watched the whole speech from Heidi's phone as delegates and Young Republicans stepped over us to get to wherever they were going.

You know what happened next. Ted Cruz gave a whole spiel on freedom, but didn't give DT his endorsement. He was booed. Loudly. Heidi Cruz had to be ushered off the convention floor.

And then, a beacon of light appeared. A grown man holding a bullhorn pressed his body to a window of the top floor apartment of the building directly across the street from us and began to speak.

Here's what happened next:

People walking by us looked up at the man, who told everyone that he was from InfoWars, and muttered to themselves. One woman said, "That is the grassy knoll."

You heard it straight from the heart of the RNC in downtown Cleveland: Go Donald Trump, "F" Ted Cruz.
