Mark your calendars! Donald Trump, trying to chase down as many campaign donations as a "self-funded" billionaire can find, will be in Washington State again later this month, according to The Washington Post.

The paper says he has "events scheduled for Napa, Calif., San Francisco, Seattle, and Portland from Aug. 29 to 31."

The Post report doesn't quite make clear whether the Seattle event will be attended by Trump himself, or whether it will just be a Republican Party fundraiser held on Trump's behalf. But the Seattle Times did shake this out of a local Trumpkin:

While details and locations have not yet been finalized, Trump plans to visit the state at the end of August or early September, said state Sen. Doug Ericksen, R-Ferndale, deputy state director for the Trump campaign.

“We are putting together stuff. It will be multiple events,” Ericksen said Thursday.

The visit will include public rallies as well as private fundraisers. “It won’t be just a classic Obama ‘fly in take money fly out.’ He will definitely be doing events,” Ericksen said.

Last time Trump showed up in Washington State, on May 7, about half of The Stranger's staff drove up to Lynden (pretty much Canada, not far from Bellingham) to see him. Here's what that looked like in photos and in tweets. And here's what disturbed Stranger staffers had to say afterward on the Blabbermouth podcast.
