good luck in this impossible task. 137K isn't nearly enough for the headaches and frustrations that are coming.

The Sloop tavern, great halibut and chips and ice cold beers!

$137K is more than enough for someone completely unqualified for the job. However, he'll be in a good spot for Murray to move into an unelected school board spot as he (Murray) tries to get mayoral control over SPS.

Only 3,000 people sleep on the streets every night? The homeless advocates, consistently claim there are over 13,000 people who sleep on Seattle's streets every night to promote their cause.

When in doubt, add bureaucracy to give the appearance of doing something.

Homelessness crisis solved!

@6 How does one apply for this gravy train position?

By being a supporter of Mayor Murray. Those who either financially support him, or help him, in his causes, get rewarded, with little-to-do, well-paid jobs. It's business as usual for him, Mayor Murray believes that bigger government will solve problems.

knives out, Slog!

137K isn't nearly enough to put up with the mountain of shit coming his way from Sawant, O'Brien, John Fox, Slog, Dori Monson, et al. he's going to be attacked from all sides no matter what he does or doesn't do.

what salary would you all accept? 127K? 97K? 57K? would you do it for less than he's getting?

the crisis is NOT solvable. it is Federal-scaled, and only Municipal solutions are being sought. he could be Jesus Christ Resurrected and he'd fail to satisfy the second-guessers in this town.

Please wait...
