We shouldn't question a candidate's health!
2
Oh, the good doctor's interview gets curiouser and curiouser:

Check out the Rachel Maddow show on Sticker radio.
3
Also, how is it that Trump had 1-y draft status for medical conditions but somehow now is "the healthiest person who could ever hold the oval office?
4
The letter formatting wasn't the proper format!! Surely there is no coming back from this scathing take down on Drumpf. Perhaps John Oliver can compare the doctor's appear to some kind of dog for the masterstroke!

I imagine this has something to do with gambling debts. Or sex parties with Donald and underage girls. Or investments in something having something to do with the Mob. Or some other shit he got his stupid ass involved in with Donald and now he can't get out.

This man is a hostage and that letter is his scream for help.

@1 we're not questioning anybody's health, you dumbshit troll.

We're questioning the totally phony letter that was clearly concocted by Trump himself.
7
I, for one, believe that Trump has never drank a drop of alcohol in his life. That is most definitely absolutely and definitely true.
8
@4: well, the equivalent was enough to sink the Bush AWOL from the TANG story. and Dan Rather's reputation and career.

Bornstein is the Meredith McIver of doctors. Sad!

@5, I like how when he's reading the letter it seems like he's reading it for the first time.

@7, http://www.independent.co.uk/news/people…

(A bunch of pictures of Trump toasting with alcohol (none of them show him actually taking a sip, however)).

@9 Not only that, it looks like he rolls his eyes when he gets to the all tests positive line.

So...

1) For that and many other reasons, it seem highly doubtful he wrote the thing.
2) He's definitely covering for whoever did.
3) His cover story is total bullshit.
4) He's in a bind, stuck between a) whatever Trump is holding over him; and b) a professional misconduct hearing and being tarred and feathered in the press.

I am convinced this guy was the basis for Dr. Leo Spaceman.

In the weird details let's not lose sight of the fact that this letter is pretty worthless. This is what an actual assessment from a doctor looks like:

Compare the amount of substantive content!

The Newsweek piece is tendentious nitpicking. Yes, people do their mock-letterheads with header text from Word. Yes, they have typos. What is the HIPAA issue with the email address anyway? And, drum roll, it used "an examination showed positive results" to mean "good".

Did Donald Trump draft it? Probably, and I don't object to mocking him for his 'spokesman' act. But it's important to note also it's a worthless letter. The only thing Trump's held back more of than his medical history is his tax returns.

Please wait...
