Because what the world needs is yet another story about an ordinary boy... or IS he?... who discovers he's Majickul after the death of his parents and then goes to a special Majick Skool to learn his Spayshul Powerz to fight the Unseen Eeeeebil Powerz that done kilt his parents and save the world.

But this one is super Spayshul 'cause Unreliable Narrator (with his Makick Elf Sidekick) in a tavern telling the tale enigmatically and slowly to the goober town folk... and, gee... another story telling trope which has never been done in fantasy before, like never!

I hope they just do a complete, real time adaption of The Slow Regard Of Silent Things. Get Beat Takasi to direct it. I wanna stare at people staring at things.
