Housing should be a basic human right.

The thing I hate the most about America is that we throw human beings away as if they were garbage. Especially when I see people living in palatial mansions, and who have multiple homes.

Every time I see a church or a bank, I think to myself, how much more useful that building would be if we converted it into free housing.

@3,

I don't want your money. In fact, what I want is for there to be no money at all.

As for sleeping with one eye open, thats what we already have to do as it is. You never know when some greedy little shit like you is going to crash the stock market.

I trust the homeless more than I trust disgusting pigs in suits like you

@2, it's taxed at 37%. Just how much more do you think it should increase?

I already "Share(d) the Warmth", albeit involuntarily. My car on Beacon Hill was robbed of all its emergency clothes and blankets, including a beautiful old Woolrich jacket I've had for over 20 yrs. I saw some of those articles down by one of the camps around the I-90 bridge across Rainier Ave, a path I often bike.

Those A-holes not only robbed me of my stuff, but also of some of my sympathy and generosity.

It sucks. Now all I see is the piles of garbage.

Its time to take the next step. We had medical marijuana. Now we have recreational marijuana.

Next, we need to push for municipal marijuana.

That's right. I want it growing in the planters outside City Hall.

Much as Alaskans enjoy (or until recently enjoyed) a permanent dividend, Seattites should receive a monthly allotment of marijuana buds. Each city resident will be mailed an ounce of pot per month on the 5th of every month.

You've heard of the drug czar, right? I want you to think of me as the drug Bolshevik. From each, according tot heir stash, to each, according to their desired buzz.

Stoners of the Sound, unite!

@7 "Each city resident will be mailed an ounce of pot per month on the 5th of every month." How much space would this take exactly? And even going with an extremely generous $100/ounce that would be $60 million a month giveaway.

"As for sleeping with one eye open, thats what we already have to do as it is. You never know when some greedy little shit like you is going to crash the stock market."

Right, because being awake sure stops those evildoers in suits. But lets get back to the real part of the question you had avoided, where is your housing and how many formerly homeless people live there? Seems only fair that your fake outrage and caring start at home.
