You're All Caught Up, Right? CNN reported last night that intelligence officials presented classified documents to both President Barack Obama and Donald Trump alleging Russians have "compromising personal and financial information" about Trump. The detail everyone's talking about: The synopsis of the information includes the allegation that Trump booked the presidential suite of the Ritz Carlton in Russia, where the Obamas had stayed, and hired sex workers to "perform a 'golden showers' (urination) show in front of him."

If You Need a Definition: It's pretty straightforward.

A Reminder: CNN and other outlets withheld the specifics of the allegations because they had not substantiated the details. (Buzzfeed published them in full.)

"Does Anyone Really Believe That Story?" Trump said at a press conference this morning. "I'm also very much of a germaphobe, by the way."

What Should Seattle Do to Prevent a Tragedy Like the Ghost Ship Fire? The city council took up that question yesterday. Seattle City Council Insight has a recap: "There was agreement all-around that the city’s arts and cultural facilities need to be safe: no one wants to see a repeat of the Ghost Ship fire here in Seattle. But it’s also recognized that those same facilities are critical to Seattle’s cultural life and identity, and a draconian approach to code enforcement that puts many of them out of business is also not in the city’s best interest."
