On January 25, Tom Edwards, 41-year-old guitarist and musical director for British '80s glam-rock superstar Adam Ant, died of suspected heart failure in New Jersey while on a tour of North America. Despite this tragic setback, Adam Ant will still perform on Friday, Feb. 3 at the Neptune Theatre. (Edwards's death had caused Ant to postpone shows in Philadelphia and New York.) On this tour, Adam Ant and his band are playing 1980's unhinged, Burundi-drums-inflected, new-wave classic, Kings of the Wild Frontier, in its entirety.
