Here's some good political television for those of us enjoying a snow day.
Democrats, led by Washington Senator Patty Murray, have been laying into Trump's unqualified, bear-wary pick for education secretary since 9 this morning. They'll keep speaking until 9 tomorrow morning, when a final vote to confirm Betsy DeVos's nomination is scheduled.
Last week, in response to a huge number of calls from constituents who expressed deep concerns about a DOE helmed by a bigly Republican donor with very limited personal and professional understanding of our education system, Republicans Senators Lisa Murkowski (Alaska) and Susan Collins (Maine) committed to oppose DeVos.
If the Democratic effort today doesn't convince one more Republican to bow to reason, duty will compel Vice President Mike Pence to pause his presidential disaster management chores for a minute and cast his vote to break the 50-50 tie on the Cabinet nominee, which will be the first time in history that has ever happened.
Here are the highlights so far:

If you ARE just sitting around the house and enjoying the snow out your window while wondering how you can stop our nation's public schools from being privatized—and if you have friends in any of the following states—you might urge them to call upon their Senators to vote NO on DeVos. Just sayin'.
If you live in AK, AZ, IA, KY, NC, NV, OH, PA, TN, UT or WV, CALL YOUR SENATORS to #StopDeVos. Your calls are critical today. Final push: pic.twitter.com/AoK7IaVCkB
