I signed the last one. I signed it, in big block letters: "FUCK YOU, BIGOTS!"

A very small percentage of people are evidently uncomfortable about using the bathroom designated for people of their gender.
A much larger percentage of people, 50 or more times as many as the aforementioned group, are uncomfortable about using the bathroom with people of a gender other than their own.
Why do the concerns of the tiny minority outweigh the concerns of the much larger group?
Why are the concerns and fears of the later group ignored and ridiculed?

@4 Because the concerns and fears of the trans community are in response to the very real threat of harassment and violence that faces them. Also- as a cis woman, sharing a bathroom with a trans woman does not concern me... empowering shitdick men to feel entitled into policing who goes into women's restrooms and whether or not they are "female enough" to be in there.. now that scares the shit out of me.

You guys are going to have to do something about Washington State's continuing history of allowing hate-based ballot initiatives on your ballots. After all those shit initiatives in the 90s over gay rights, there must have been something learned, right? You don't put civil rights up for a vote. Ever. They are guaranteed. The Secretary of State should put the kibosh on those initiatives from the get-go, signatures or not, and let the petitioners take the overrule to the courts. I mean, DAMN. Could I get an initiative on the ballot proposing that Jewish people and black people cannot use the libraries on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It's a complete waste of time and money and it demeans elections to allow hateful shit like that on the ballot.

This bill would require trans men to use women's restrooms. The only way to know which men in the women's room were trans and which were cis would be to check genitals. And this would protect everyone's privacy how, exactly?
