He had people who showed up at his offices placed in a mental institution?
2
Yeah, he's lying there. What else is he lying about? Not that it matters; he's not worth the research time it would take to determine that.

Whatta fraud.

BTW, Reichert is known for coordinating and trading his vote with other RepubliKKKans, so that it will appear falsely that he's opposing whatever harmful, sadistic, hate-crazed bill they're pushing which would outrage his constituents, when in fact the thugs already have the votes that they need.

I'm kinda impressed that there are over 3,500 comments on the facebook post for the live video.

Reichert defended his own vote against requesting Trump's tax returns, likening it to requesting an average citizen's tax returns ("we can't do that")

That's correct, we don't do that, because the average citizen is not the President of the United States, and the average citizen also hasn't already exhibited behavior that could be explained by high treason (in addition to that time Trump openly encouraged Russia to engage in espionage against his campaign opponent, of course).

When asked about the Trump administration's recent repeal of protections for trans students, Reichert shrugged it off as a transfer of power back to the states, allowing states to decide “whether or not they want to accommodate transgenders in a specific way.”

Something tells me that if someone were to ask him why this same logic can't also be applied against black folks or Christians (one being something you're born as, the other being a conscious, daily choice) he wouldn't answer the same way.

When Cerna pushed Reichert on Bannon's ties to Breitbart and white nationalism, Reichert said, "I don’t think you can ignore those things. I’m aware of those—that past history, but, you know, people change. I don’t know Mr. Bannon. I don’t know what he’s like today. I’ve never met him."

Bannon didn't post these things to LiveJournal when he was 15, for God's sake. Does this really have to be explained to an adult?!

Reichert is a weasel.
8
Coward.

"but, you know, people change. I don’t know Mr. Bannon. I don’t know what he’s like today."

That's great, Dave, so your response changes after you get clued in to what Mr. Bannon is like today?
10
What else is he lying about?

Catching Gary Ridgway.

@ 10,

That's an excellent point of which most people are unaware: Reichert ran for office by taking credit for another man's work. Christ, whattan asshole.
13
Who is on the list of possible opponents? This is a district dominated by suburbs that is rapidly becoming more and more democratic. Find somebody good to run, and get them started now!
14
Reichert as Pontius Pilate

Dave Reichert rode intooffice claiming bravery as evidenced by his capture of the Green River Killer.

Now, we see that it wasn't bravery- just bravado. This man is a coward whose terrified of facing the voters who put him in office every 2 years.

The thing that gets me is that he represents Tacoma. I get how he's fooled Ellensburg, but T-town? Grit City's not exactly a GOP stronghold. Not with the powerful union presence there, having won the Advocate's trophy for Gayest City in America, and the near total dominance of the Democratic Party in all local offices.
16
@15 - most of Tacoma is represented by Derek Kilmer, with smaller parts coveres by Adam Smith and Denny Heck. Reichert represents east Pierce County, not Tacoma.
17
Coward--that sums up both Dave Reichert AND Doug Ericksen. Both need to be taken out in industrial sized trash bags and replaced with elected representatives who truly address the needs of the people.

Please wait...
