I'm always trying to figure out if * believes his own bullshit.
3
What @1 said.

People need to be tweeting "Thanks Obama" early and often.
4
@3 as in "thank you Obama for being at the helm while the Democratic party tanked over the last 8 years"?
5
@4 or is it "Thank you Obama for pushing TPP . A message received loud and clear in the rust belt, apparently"
6
I don't recall any president that didn't immediately take credit for a favorable jobs report.
8
Lest we forget that Obama, Bush Jr, Clinton, Bush Sr, etc all did the exact same thing...
9
@7 the main reason for Trump and Brexit, Le Pen, etc .. isn't Clinton or any one person but the neoliberal policies they advocate, which includes Obama. There is no telling how much longer the Hope and more of the same show would have worked.
10
@7: Hillary ran a less than stellar campaign, but she already had two big factors against her to begin with: her last name, and after eight years of Obama - the change factor.
12
@8 Obama was against attacking Iraq which is very important given the blowback even though his management of subsequent conflicts didn't necessarily increase stability (Syria comes to mind)
13
@10: you're missing a few "big factors":
1. she's a woman on a misogynist planet.
2. she had the FSB and the GOP colluding against her.
3. she's not a conscienceless con man.

@6: they take credit, but with more modesty, and reason, and without dismissing the statistic out of hand for the previous year while insisting that up is down.
14
@11 Well, he ran on change and proceeded to conduct biz as usual from day 1. His opposing the Sanders wing at the DNC elections leaves little doubt which side he is on if you miraculously had any doubt left after 8 years of mostly vacuous rhetoric.
15
@13
1- Obama is a black man on a racist planet and he won (probably because he appeared as a progressive populist)
2 - FSB had nothing to do with Democrats losing many state assemblies for 8 years
3 - She was an establishment candidate during an institutional crisis of gigantic proportions.

16
@13
I'd add:
4. Everyone thought she was an easy win so a lot of dems didn't bother to show up and vote
17
Or how about: Thanks Obama - for a record-setting 77 straight months of job growth.
18
@8 Bullshit. Obama did NOT take credit for any increase in employment or decrease in unemployment during his first 100 days in office simply because that did not happen.

When Obama took office in 2008 our economy and job market was in free fall. In 2008, with Bush at the helm, the US lost more than 2.6 million jobs with the 2008 December job losses at 524,000. In January 2009 it was 818,000 jobs lost and for February 2008 the number was 724,000.

Hey thanks guys for demonizing a perfectly competent candidate because you couldn't "fall in love" with a 60ish woman.

And you'd rather believe Russian propaganda then "fall in love" an imperfect candidate.

Thanks again for all the things a competent and sane President could have avoided: the elimination of healthcare, the next three wars Trump will provoke, the inevitable cratering of the economy that comes with every Republican administration (this one will the def con depression on steroids!), the institutionalized racism, the deportations, the dismantling of the EPA, NASA, and every other nice thing because you didn't get your way in the precisely the candidate you wanted -- pout, pout!

And now anti-vaxxing idiot and unelectable Jill Stein has a 6 million dollar war chest from her phony vote counting kickstarter, and there will be some other competent and sane candidate you won't fall in love with, so batten down the hatches for 8 years of Trump and the Republican Congress that will run out of things to dismantle, before they're done.

@15
Obama is half-white

Please wait...
