If Trumpcare Becomes a Reality: Then Dave Reichert, who is all for it, will have more dead bodies on his hands than Gary Leon Ridgway, the serial killer he pursued for two decades. In 2001, Ridgway, who worked in a truck factory, was arrested and interviewed extensively by Reichert, then a sheriff and a leading member of the Green River Task Force. In 2004, Reichert published the book: Chasing the Devil: My Twenty-Year Quest to Capture the Green River Killer. Also in 2004, Reichert ran for Congress and won.

Now, from the human perspective, the Republican congressperson appears to be a good guy and Ridgway, who is spending the rest of his life in prison for nearly 50 murders, a very bad guy. But from, say, God's perspective (sub specie aeternitatis, to use a term by the great pantheist Spinoza), Reichert will appear to be the much greater devil, if he votes for and helps install a health care program that experts believe will kill thousands upon thousands of Americans. Washington Post: "Repealing the Affordable Care Act will kill more than 43,000 people annually." Yes, that many. Yes, Ridgway ain't got nothing on that.

First Hill Streetcar Resumes Services Today, March 20:It has been out of services since March 1, when one of its streetcars lost power on Broadway and slid backwards for two-and-a-half blocks. Leilani Polk, this paper's managing editor, is one of the few true fans of First Hill Streetcar. She uses it all of the time because one of its stops is near her place. But for many, the train is too slow and often gets stuck in traffic. The thing needs its own lane. That said, SDOT made electrical modifications to the brake system of the streetcars and plans to "implement an operating speed limit of 7 M.P.H. and two safety stops on the section of track where the issue occurred and steep gradient exists."

Happy Birthday Capitol Hill Station and University of Washington Station: When these stations opened on March 19, 2016, the whole city was transformed in an instant. Or, put another way, a new city arrived in a big way. Ridership jumped into another dimension of capacity. Seattle Times: "39,000 people each weekday on average used light rail. Now, about 65,000 people do." Sound Transit: “In February alone, 1.5 million people rode light rail — a 78 percent increase for the month compared to February last year.” Numbers of this kind transform the way a city is directly and indirectly experienced.

Car Falls 15 Feet From I-5: It crashed near South Adams Street and Ninth Avenue South. KIRO reports that the driver was "conscious after the crash."

A Car Collided With a Ride the Ducks Amphibious Vehicle: The crash happened yesterday on the 1200 block of Westlake Avenue North. The driver, a woman in her 60s, suffered minor injuries. Ride the Ducks suffered more bad press.

The FBI Is Investigating the Trump/Russia Link: Also, the FBI believes Obama didn't tap the Trump Towers.

Though Trump Is Low In the Polls: Many will never let him go. He can lie to his voters, deprive them of cheap health care, break promise after promise, and still they will support this man, still they will prefer him to Obama.
