Who actually benefits from that damn Streetcar considering the wait time before one eventually comes lumbering along, the fact that it's now only moving at 7mph, and has two new 'stops' on its route for a safety check.

Streetcars are the worst of all possible transit options: expensive vehicles using expensive infrastructure (that's a hazzard to others), getting stuck in traffic and unable to maneuver or otherwise have any flexibility to re-route when necessary.

The only thing a streetcar has going for it is.... wait, let me think about this a minute.

Oh - nothing! There is nothing worthwhile about a streetcar.
