The tallest corner the city of billionaires.
The tallest corner in the city of billionaires. Charles Mudede

What does it mean that the two richest persons on earth now live in our city? It means a lot. First of all, there is no income tax in this state. It also explains why Seattle is the crane capital of the US. (The city actually has three world-historical billionaires, when we include Paul Allen.) Puget Sound Business Journal reports that Jeff Bezos, the CEO and founder of Amazon, is now the second-richest man on planet capitalism because his company "expanded its Middle East footprint" by purchasing Dubai-based e-commerce platform Souq ("market" in Arabic) the "Amazon of the Middle East." Bezos is now worth—in financial value, because no such wealth actually exists in the present and real world—$75.6 billion. Bill Gates is worth $80 billion. I'm worth $130,000, and though Bezos makes that kind of money in mere seconds, I'm still one of the richest persons on planet capitalism. Cry, my beloved earthlings.
