Thank you for this great article! Very glad to see you outline the benefits of drama-based education for students, and wanted to point out some of the great programs that Seattle Children's Theatre provides, programs that would benefit from Access for All. Our School Children Access Program benefits nearly 60,000 children a year from throughout the Puget Sound region, making it possible for their teachers to bring them on field trips to see our plays because we provide curriculum tie-ins to the material. All the kids pay less than a quarter of the actual value of a ticket, all teachers come for free, and so do low-income children. And they're able to use free resources like this Active Audience Guide for Seedfolks: http://sct.org/Assets/Files/AAGSeedfolks… Already, the program is supported largely by contributed income; funding through Access for All would help ensure SCT can continue and grow the program to reach the children who need it most.
