Shoot into the sky?

Does that stupid remark disqualify the rest of that former police/Army officer's testimony?

That is someone who doesn't understand gravity or population density.

@1 You forgot to mention this too. "Shoot at someone’s leg to immobilize them."

Remember when seconds count, take time to aim at a small, moving target. You know for the folks that wouldn't know to stop when cops are yelling at them and there's a gun pointed their way.

there's got to be more to this story beyond the police doing what they seem to do with alarming frequency (panic and overreact). who's the neighbor "firing off warning shots" at a dude with a pen? did they know each other previously? has Le ever acted crazy before? are the tox screens back?

body cams. now.

@4

Are people asking those same questions about the woman shot in Minnesota?
6
@5: I would assume so. there's been no explanation of why the cop had to shoot a lady in her pajamas THROUGH THE CAR DOOR. what did she do that made him panic?

the Le shooting is without context other than "we thought he had a knife and maybe he could fly so I had to gun him down". I want context before I rush to judgment.

"Le did not drop the item, the department claimed, and began advancing towards the deputies. Two deputies deployed their Tasers to no effect."

Charleena Lyles apologists, take note.

@6

I kind of assume not, at least not very broadly. I don't think there are any Fox personalities looking deeply into her background to see what kind of criminal record she has or whether she was an angel or not.
11
@9: meaning they missed?
12
@11: According to the Seattle Times report, the taser DID hit him. Run along.
13
@12: didn't read the blethen times' account, thanks for the info. 2 direct taser shots and he kept coming at them with a pen? pretty bad hombre. no choice i guess.

Please wait...
