"We're Gonna Have a Woman Mayor!" Someone shouted at Cary Moon's party last night. Also, "We're gonna have Moon pies!" When we chatted with Moon, she said, "I feel really excited around building a coalition around the progressives—except Jenny Durkan. It's time for politics to change in this town whether that means we're second or third." That was an acknowledgment that Oliver may overtake Moon as more ballots are counted.

Macklemore Survived a Head-On Collision on Whidbey Island: "Macklemore is lucky to be alive after his Mercedes was hit head-on by an alleged drunk driver in a pickup truck," TMZ reports. The accident happened last Friday. "Macklemore had two passengers in his Benz. One person was treated for a minor cut to the head, but all three walked away from the accident." A Washington State Trooper says the driver of the pickup truck will likely be charged with a DUI.
