Yeah, Cory Booker is a Wall Street minion of long standing. I hadn't heard about his relationship with Kushner and Trump, but it hardly surprises. He's basically the avatar of the worst kind of Democrat.

His marijuana bill is nothing but political posturing. He knows damn well that it's not going anywhere. He just wants to fool Democrats into supporting his aspirations for higher office. No doubt those aspirations will be just as well funded by Wall Street, whose interests he will continue to serve.

Hopefully, he represents the past of the Democratic party, not its future.

If i recall correctly, at least one of those instances of cross-state maryjoowanna smuggling was thanks to an alleged Officer of the Law.

Legalized MJ had no chance in this state until we literally called their bluff.

Same in Canada.

Call their bluff.

@1 - Booker also has the 5th most progressive voting record in the Senate - right between Elizabeth Warren and Al Franken. And six slots higher than Bernie Sanders.

Doesn't that matter too?

Why on earth would anyone think big bucks could be made in the legal weed industry? On the grow side - its no different than employment in horticulture/agriculture. On the retail side - its RETAIL. If you are new to weed - the internet can educate you; if you are an experienced toker, all that budtender has to do is hand over the package and ring up the sale. At least bartenders actually MAKE something. Budtenders are basically glorified cashiers to an experienced weed smoker - why would that job pay much more than minimum?

@5 Well actually, since in WA we can't touch or smell the product a budtenders job is to know the products and their results. I have a specific shop and budtender I only go to now. I can walk in to see her any day and tell her exactly what I want out of purchase and she has yet to steer me wrong.

Please wait...
