At least the floors will be squeaky clean. Sound Transit

Sound Transit this morning halted service for a light rail train for about an hour after an operator noticed an "odd chemical smell" onboard, the Seattle Times reports. That smell turned out to be Pine-Sol, the cleaning product.

The piney odor led a train operator to let off passengers at Sodo Station and make a hazardous materials report. Fourteen firefighting units responded to the light rail maintenance station by Airport Way South, where they found the Pine-Sol.

A spokesperson for Sound Transit did not immediately respond to The Stranger's request for comment.
