I can't be the only one who wants to read about the adventures of Tristen Bonneville and Thunderheart Williams.

"Obstruction" is the charge when cops know they have no actual reason for an arrest.

Who keeps knives on a car console, and then reaches in their direction in front of cops? He may well have been intending to turn the ignition off, but I can see how it looked to the cops.

@1/Ken Mehlman: When the only offense a suspect is arrested for "obstructing officers," you can be sure that the police had zero reason for the arrest.

@4 I'm pretty certain wood carving knives are not the same as other knives. A quick google search confirms the blades are only an inch or two long... I can see what you're saying, but if it was my gas they were burning through, I'd want to shut off the engine too.

If you don't have negative confrontations with the police here's a simple thought STOP FUCKING BREAKING THE LAW!!! See? It's very easy to do. I hope the cops sue the hell out of this clown for making a false claim.

If he were a white techie (guilty as charged) the cops A: would never have arrested him in the first place and B: would have the city's top law firms vying to see who gets the business of suing.

And yes, the jails are full of people who can't afford decent legal representation.
