This law, if imposed from a hostile foreign entity, would be considered an act of genocidal war. Good thing GREAT PATRIOTS Maria and Patty voted for the infinite military budget! I feel better already.

Bud, I hope you're taking more action against the bill than griping about your Senators who oppose it. You're a grown-up, you can gripe and get your ass in gear at the same time, right?

I'm glad...ACA sucks and is really just another grift for the insurance companies. Kill it. Unfortunately between the end of ACA and a new medicare for all people will die.

If this passes the shaky house of cards that is America's health care delivery system might very well start crashing down.

People who believe they won't lose access to care because they'll still have coverage if it passes may see that access curtailed because health care facilities will close, there'll be major staff reductions, reductions in clinic days and hours, hospital floors will be closed, and costs will rise steeply - all because of the loss of significant patient volumes. This rise in costs also means premiums, deductibles, and out-of-pocket expenses will rise at a greater rate than they would have if it didn't pass. Don't for one minute kid yourself that this won't negatively affect your health care even if you believe the repeal of Obamacare doesn't affect you directly.

Nobody in the GOP appears to be thinking through the economic ramifications of this for the health care system nor about the impact it will have on those who'll continue to have access to care after Obamacare repeal. This is just a highly politicized action sacrificing common sense and public welfare on the alter of conservative ideology. And it will be a Pyrrhic victory for the GOP if it passes.

Any of you working in health care have a critical stake in this not being passed. It will hurt YOU and the people you care for if it does. I don't care what your politics are about anything else, it's in your best interest to start calling and e-mailing Captiol Hill to urge a vote of "NO" on Graham-Cassidy.

Please wait...
