Don't let James Majesty fool you. She isn't on season 10 of RuPaul's Drag Race.
She is, however, on season two of Dragula, which is basically just as exciting.
The trailer announcing the season two cast broke this morning. It's loud.
If you thought there was only one major drag show on television... you wouldn't be entirely wrong. The Boulet Brothers' Dragula's first aired last Halloween on HeyQween.TV (a popular website and YouTube channel for the queers) as a spooky alternative to RuPaul's Drag Race, but the show was quickly overshadowed by the horrors of the 2016 election. But its cult status endured, and it looks like Dragula is on a similar trajectory to early seasons of RuPaul's Drag Race. Like RPDR, Dragula is getting a bigger budget for season two and has been picked up by an LGBT cable channel... but in Canada. (No worries—Seattle fans don't need to go to Vancouver to watch the show. Season 2 will air on WOWPresents' YouTube channel on Tuesday nights.)
But what's the most exciting part about the second season of Dragula? It has Seattle favorites James Majesty and Monikkie Shame! AND THEY LOOK SO GOOD.
The show premieres Tuesday, October 31, 2017 on Halloween night.
