I hope they win a giant settlement and this puts discriminatory practices in Catholic healthcare to rest in this state.

I see some similarities to a seemingly unrelated issue: What about men who identify as men but who have Gynecomastia (i.e., man boobs), which is a condition that also causes a lot of anxiety, depression, and dysphoria. Obviously very different situation, but it's similar in that the person has a biological feature that does not match his gender identity. Surgery is likewise outside the realm of covered benefits.
