Most of the people in the country didn't vote for Trump and the shitshow he ushered into power; many who voted for him have changed their minds about him. Unfortunately, we can't ask for a "do-over" election--not even when there's proof that this one was rigged and influenced in direct and indirect unscrupulous ways. Our Constitution doesn't allow for that. There is no mechanism for removing an elected official from office that a non-congressperson or cabinet member can make besides waiting to the next election and voting him out of office.

If it was up to many of us, we'd either impeach the motherfucker or 25th-amendment him. But it's not up to us. Congress won't impeach, and the Cabinet and VP won't declare him unfit.

What I'm doing, in addition to letting my representatives and senators know how I feel about every issue on which they vote, keeping my friends and family informed of the issues and where it looks as if progressive policies have a chance, and giving my money to political campaigns, disaster relief, the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, and Human Rights Watch, is noticing. If you have a suggestion about what the average, non-rich, not-already-elected member of Congress can do that would help, please let us know. I'd seriously be interested.
