@7, it's not who you are, it's what you do that counts. And it's not being outraged and pouting about it if we question the motives of a person who, up until now, has not behaved in a manner consistent with the speech he just gave.

If Senator Flake honestly believes that Trump is a moral stain, then why has he voted party line for Trump's policies, appointments, and cabinet picks up until this point? And in the future, will he continue to do so?

Will he stand by quietly while stuff like this happens in his home state?

What he does in the coming days is the truth of his words. Do his actions back it up? Does he shout down unconstitutional land grabs in his home state? Does he stand with John McCain on the return to regular order in the Senate, aka not attempting to pass bills that affect 1/6th of the US economy without hearings or floor debate? Does he work in good faith towards budgetary policy? Does he become a clarion voice against starting a war with North Korea because the chief of the executive branch has backed himself into a corner with his mouth and his Twitter account and now is trying to not look weak? Does he advocate meaningful intervention and oversight into the human catastrophe in Puerto Rico right now?

Or does he talk a good show, but at the end of it all, it's just talk? Kind of like Ted "Vote your conscience" Cruz?
