Having spent a portion of my childhood and all of my teenage years in Longview-Kelso (colloquially known as "the armpit of Southwest Washington"), I can say, without hesitation, that many of the locals who reside there are in fact pretty stupid; not all mind you, but definitely a lot. The really smart ones tend to leave at the first opportunity.
