Re: Gun Violence. While I can't find the original graphic on the WSJ site (not a subscriber, sorry), apparently these "mass shootings" by WMS (white male shooters) has been increasing in recent years. Here's a tweet with the gun violence timeline.
Correlation but not? causation: the incidence of these things has increased since the Recession began in 2008.
Seattle has a choice between two pretty great progressive women for mayor and the Stranger opens with a snarky comment about their moderate wealth. Seeing the left savage itself like this kills me, and it's not productive.
Re: Gun violence. Happy to see that these last two aren't being identified by name as much as in the past, though their body counts are still posted everywhere and compared to previous 'records'. I wish the news would quit making bank on these tragedies while showing all the bitter, suicidal a-holes out there the global celebrity that could be theirs, but that is perhaps a hopeless wish. They are only providing what the consumers want to see. Guns haven't changed in the last 20 years, something else did.
