Lunchtime Quickie

Every time you think you're having a bad day at work, just think of school teacher Crystal Defanti. You'll feel better, I promise. I'm just happy those students all received a new DVD...

Thanks Dan. I'm having a terrible day, but not nearly as terrible as the day - or whole month - Ms. Defanti is having.

That teacher was dumb, but the news story was even dumber. 2:34 minutes long? Showing the actual sex scene multiple times? Classic case of running an "OMG! Sex!" story for the sole purpose of talking about (and showing) sex for two minutes.

Listening to news reporters, with their crazy runoff sentences that don't actually parse correctly is really hard to do.

"...but it's also becoming something that these parents are now having to find words. To explain to their children what they saw on a classroom tape."

Oh No!!! Some parents might actually be forced to do what they're supposed to do anyway and actually teach their kids about sex!

For fuck's sake - knocking on this poor woman's door? This is just shitty sensationalist journalism. It really, really doesn't fall in the "the public needs to know" category. It's unbelievably appalling that they kept showing the clip (and the fact that they HAVE the clip means one of the parents - I'm guessing the douche who acted out the clip - recorded it on DVD). And really, this tool of a parent wanting counseling for the kids; why are people such pussies? Just explain it to your kid, do your goddamn job, and move on!
*grumble*

I'm glad I never had to see my 5th grade teacher have sex.

I'm curious exactly how that mixup could have even happened. Just different files laying on her desktop, with nondescriptive names, and she accidentally placed one of her having sex on the DVD?

Why are you people surprised that this is a news story? This is the kind of shit that Podunk CBS affiliates live for.

A few years from now some local bar will have her in as a guest DJ..... Could be a pretty big hit, too...........

I wonder if the whole scene as boring as the little bit they showed here.

I'm more conerned with the tightness of the reporter's jeans. Not a good look, even for local TV.

I like the fact that the father wants counseling for his kids. Christ, talk about sexophobic.

That's why people should create whole new accounts on their computers for work related content to separate it from their personal information.

Or a separate account for your amateur porn . . .

Counseling for his kids. Because god forbid he should man up and talk to them himself ...
