I know so many people who aren't going to this show because it is at the shittiest location ever, White River Amphitheater.

Please boycott going there, please tell your friends not to go there, whatever, until bands stop booking at this horrible, awful, no good, very bad venue.

If you go to White River, plan on spending at least 2 hours after the show to get out of the parking lot and the one lane street going away from it.

Fixed, Fnarf. Sorry. I'm still sleepy, okay? Despite Slayer's best efforts.

You don't have to apologize to ME, Megan; but to the thousands of angry Slayer fans who, having been turned back by White River traffic, are now congregating outside your apartment with pitchforks and torches.

Possibly.

@2, I just assumed it was that inverted old-timey way of speaking... "Then be thou jocund," etc.

I love how the off-hand SLAYER tie-in has totally usurped all of the news you posted.

I'm wearing my autographed Slayer shirt in the office right now. It doesn't fit right anymore, and I kind of look like an idiot, but I care not.

Also, watch Lineout tomorrow for pictures from tonight's show. Northwest hesh fest!

Here's an interesting column from the PI that should be required reading for Dominic:

"Can you be an environmentalist and a NIMBY?"

@3: it's easy to get out without dealing with Auburn. When you leave the parking lot at WRA, take a left and head through the back of Enumclaw-- it'll turn into Griffin Ave, and then take a left onto HW 169, which will take you to 405. When we left Radiohead, it took us less than 40 minutes to make it to Issaquah that way, while it took friends 3+ hours to get to Issy via Auburn and HW 167.

@3
You are lucky if you can get out of White River in 2 hours. I went to a concert there last year and it took us over 4 hours to get back to Seattle.

#14 - I wish it fit in a "Hey dudes, check out my bitchin tits in this tight shirt!" way...

Instead it's more of "Man, when did I get pregnant with this beer baby?!" sort of fashion

Oh, and rent a motorbike - you'll get there faster.
