Lunchtime Quickie

Posted by on Wed, Jul 29, 2009 at 12:05 PM

In honor of Seattle's (maybe) 101-degree record-breaking temperature today, let's watch this classic. I wish I could put Arthur's laugh in a can and drink it for breakfast...

Here's Paul Lynde doing the weather in 1978:

It should make you laugh.

@1: A Hatian TV station? That limits it to Television nationale d'Haiti, Tele Haiti, Tele Eclair, Telemax, Tele Provinciale, Tele Quisqueya, and Tele 7.

@3, I doubt it. They're talking in English. I seem to recall from the last time this clip came up on Slog, the predominant view was Jamaica.

@3,@4: It shouldn't be that hard. They plaster the station's logo not only on each person's jacket but also on Charlotte's coffee mug. Wish it was better quality so I could read the call sign. Anyway, you'd think by now some Haitian/Jamaican/Dominican TV station would be cashing in on the fame.
