It's Not Enough That He's A Nazi Who Wants To Euthanize Old Folks And Turn Everyone Else Into Socialist Zombies

Posted by on Fri, Aug 7, 2009 at 3:39 PM

No... Now President Obama wants to kill Sarah Palin's Down syndrome baby with his "death panel." Says Sarah Palin:

The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama's "death panel" so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their "level of productivity in society," whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil.

Welcome to political messaging. This is what conservatives, by their very nature, excel at, and progressives, by our very nature, struggle with. It's easier to stir fear; takes a much more nuanced message to inspire progress.

Make no mistake; we are making progress. But, that message, the one Palin is wielding? That message works. And, I fear we are in no position to counter it.

AAARRRRGH Ifuckinghatethisshit! I hate that she said it, I hate the fact that people will believe it even more. These fucking people...they are the true enemies of a democratic society. Refusing to have informed, reasoned debate with your opponents, treating propaganda and speculation as fact, using fear as the only measurement of a policy's worth...these are the things that will destroy our country.

I don't know what we should do when our opponents talk like crazy people, because I'm not crazy, so my mind doesn't work like that. I guess just keep on repeating "Shut the fuck up, you're lying!" over and over again? Don't know if that's effective, but it feels good, and we do know that dumbshit crazy conservatives are receptive to loud voices and accusation.

Sarah, dear, maybe you haven't noticed, but no one cares what you think.

Love your hair, you had some darling little outfits during the campaign, and no one wears a pair of waders like you (Hotcha!) but the fact remains: No one cares what you think. (Well, maybe Lord Basil, but he's not well.)

So be a dear, and head on back to that big welfare state up north. Next time you're in Seattle, make sure not to call.

It's obvious that none have you have READ THE BILL. This health care legislation is Barack Hussein Obama's enabling act. Once this goes through, look for conservatives to disappear left and right, including Sarah. I admire her courage in speaking out against this potential Marxist Fascist death machine that will leave the government in complete control of our lives, and enforced homosexuality in our schools.

If there is an election in 2012 (no real guarantee of that, is there?) I'll work every minute of every day to ensure that she is elected.

As bat shit crazy as Palin is, there are way too many in this country who voted for W TWICE that have drank the kool aid and buy this verbal diarrhea hook, line and sinker. I have family members that think Palin's a political genius and buy the socialist BS tag the right are painting on Obama. Palin knows this, which is why she's so restless in her efforts to maintain attention in the media. She's clearly gearing up for a 2012 campaign for the White House - this is only the beginning.

But please, by all means keep pounding your chest and stamping your feet like you were for the last eight years while your neocon idols were secretly funneling your "hard earned tax dollars™" into their cronies pockets and paying mercenaries to smuggle guns into a war zone to arm the very people we were fighting.

Thinking is hard - that's why Palin and her ilk are having so much success in attracting audiences of sycophants who will resist to their dying breath reading or watching anything that deviates from their chosen path of stupidhood. Folksy kitsch will only get you so far, particularly when you aren't bright and your message is essentially negative.

People like Coulter and Malkin, annoying as they are, can stay in the spotlight because they are educated and can at least hold up their end of an argument. Sarah never interacts with people, she just blabbers out prepared remarks in that horrid voice and leaves.

Outside of politics, I really don't know what she can do. I don't think she has the talent or the temperament for radio or TV, outside of reading the news or editorials, and she'd need a ghost writer with the patience of Job to push out a book. But since she really hasn't done much with her life, what would she say? It would be like me writing a book.

Personally, I think Palin is McCain's revenge on the GOP for the shoddy way they treated him when he ran against Bush. I don't know why people don't get that.

I always suspected McCain sabotaged the 2008 election on purpose. I think perhaps he was hiding something in his medical records and realized he'd not live out the term and therefore have his revenge when 'President Palin' took over....or that the Palin & the 'Real Americans' of the Republican party would so outrage the American voters with their incompetence that Obama would win by a landslide. Either way McCain wins and the GOP loses.

If the mainstream media was so damn liberal, or for that matter held this country to high and not low standards, she would have never been taken seriously enough to fly as McCain's VP candidate. But no.
Now she is a star for the hateful, paranoid extreme christian right and we have to deal with this bullshit, her working to further polarize this country. And she is never going to go away. She is going to be with us all our lives because apparently her extremist, America-hating, rape victim-despising, mean, vengeful, resentful, anti-intellectual, scandal-ridden past is not awful enough to deflate her popularity and status. Thanks a lot McCain, thanks a lot to our mainstream media that would lend credibility to a house plant if it were controversial and entertaining enough

this side of the conservatives is really sad and hopeless. They let politics ,not human wellbeing and justice rule their agendas. They say and do the most outrageous, cruel, unfair carteless things and then have the nerve to point fingers if a "liberal" gives them a taste of their own medicine(which is really lowering yourselves so please refrain or you're just letting these types beat you)
As liberals we can't lead by following a desperate regressive example. We must,by example, show them the way foward. What a wonderful thing to help the PROGRESS not only of our country, but humanity also,by being in the rigth side of the argument.
