When Did You Vote?

Posted by on Tue, Aug 18, 2009 at 4:02 PM

Earlier today, Schmader asked why you didn’t vote. Some of you are felons, but a whopping 77 percent of you said, “Of course I voted.” But did you vote the day your ballot arrived, or did you wait until today's lunch break, like everyone here at The Stranger offices?

Clearly, many people are waiting till the last minute to vote in our all-mail primary. King County Elections officials say they plan to post the results tonight of 150,000 ballots they they've tallied so far (out of a projected 350,000 ballots they expect). Which brings us to (cross your fingers) the last poll about the primary election:

Where's 'yesterday' on this list? It certainly wasn't the weekend, but I did get to feel smug today.

I also waited for Publicola's endorsements to be released (gotta do the double checking).

I voted this morning in my hotel room in West Hollywood. The boyfriend voted then too. Put our ballots in the mail ten minutes later. If we have to wait a week for a race to be decided by two votes, blame us.

No, they're not Tizzle.

Not all of em.

Check out the link at http://www.kingcounty.gov/elections/voti… - but note all Neighborhood Service Centers close earlier (yes, it's confusing)
