Where is former New York Times restaurant critic Frank Bruni eating while he's in Seattle?

Today at lunch he was spotted in the back room at (rightfully) world-famous Salumi (see "Sandwiches We Have Loved: The Staff of The Stranger Sings the Praises of the Best Thing Since Sliced Bread"). He also had coffee at Caffe Umbria in Pioneer Square.

Tonight he reads from his new book Born Round: The Secret History of a Full-Time Eater at Elliott Bay (details hereit's free!—get there early).

Tomorrow, Bruni does a Words and Wine reading at the Pan Pacific Hotel ($50, with very good snacks, wine, and a copy of the book included; info over here) and an expensive dinner at Spinasse—UPDATE! not yet sold out, info over here (as the books calendar says, "You've gotta figure the chefs at Spinasse are just about shitting themselves in fear right now").

Over here is a slide show about Born Round, including, among other things, doing the Atkins diet (back in its first iteration of popularity) with his mother at age 8.

Salumis fine work. Now I am hungry.
