Nope there has never been a time. Sorry. Then again... no I'm not.

Kanye was a prototypical punk ass black man who feels superior to those around him. His inability to control his impulses and outbursts are the sign of someone who believes his own hype that has been regurgitated by "YES" men, hired to push his "fame" Kanye has serious mental deficiencies. One only needs to watch his interview with Jay Leno to see that he is a couple french fries short of a happy meal.

He just isn't all there.

He shouldn't be famous whatsoever.

He isn't even that good at rap or whatever the description of what he mumbles out when trying to open his mouth.

This action will seal his downward spiral into anonymity...

Buh Bye... Good riddance to bad rubbish.

i for one still give big ups to kanye for his *ahem* outburst on live tv post katrina...

someone, anyone had to say exactly what he said. those who do not believe, go to the 9th ward in new orleans today and see if his words do not resonate.

He's always been a raging douche. We've just been fortunate enough that, like a firehose tapped into a high-pressure main of liquefied ego, he has occasionally aimed at other, more dangerous douchebags as he wildly flails back and forth across the street.

He was just drunk. Besides, the outburst made for good drama, and Taylor should be able to milk this for a while. Beyonce also looks rosier than ever. It's a net good.

See, I can't be too mad at Kanye specifically *because* of the George Bush Doesn't Care About Black People (Followed by Mike Meyer's FACE) Moment. It was one of the greatest and most hilarious moments in television history (and he was right). So he will always have a special place in my heart for that.

Oh no.

Are we going to have to see The Obamas chintz lawn furniture again when Swift and West sit down for a beer with Barack and Biden in the Rose Garden!

He's an emotional person who speaks from his heart without considering the outcome. That hasnt changed. Throw a huge ego into the mix and he's interrupting acceptance speeches.

George Bush Doesn't Like Black People?!?!

hahahahahahaha never gets old. Especially the awkward cut away hahahahaha

The only problem is that he wasn't quite there. He should have said, "George Bush doesn't like poor people." He liked Colin and Condoleeza, but can't stand poor people of any race.

He clearly is still struggling with the loss of his mother, you can feel that in one of the interviews he has given. That explains a lot about the obvious loss of mental balance and composure he has exhibited lately. He needs to take some serious time for himself maybe do some travel and rethink about where he wants to go from here on with his life.

I'm with 8. The "Oh, shit" look on Meyer's face after Kanye's comment was absolute television gold.

In a related note, that would make a great ringtone.

@15 ...yeah, i have sympathy for his loss, and he played the pain card well on the tonight show. and i agree that he needs to take some "me" time. but he was already crazay before he lost his mom.

And then George W Bush moved to a gated community in which up until less than a decade ago wouldn't allow black people to purchase homes.

I think you've got to pay to be cared about by Bush. I don't think he's racist. I think he thinks that all people that aren't millionaires are commodities of varying fiscal value. Bush was simply incapable of empathy, and couldn't understand that other people care about the fate of the people of New Orleans.

What Kanye did wasn't cool, sure. But nobody would have given a shit about Taylor Swift's MTV award if Kanye hadn't cockblocked her award speech. Thus in a backhanded way this is the best thing to happen to Taylor's otherwise ho-hum pop career.

Thing about Kanye is he's willing to say what we all think.

Kind of like how Seattle is willing to say that we don't want the Billionaires Tunnel and it ain't gonna happen.

Does it piss off the powers that be?

Of course.

Is it rude?

Of course.

Taking the moment away from a teenager was a dick move, but I still like Kanye.

15) Loveschild, did you know that Kanye is pro gay rights, and has been outspoken condemning folks like you?

"Thus in a backhanded way this is the best thing to happen to Taylor's otherwise ho-hum pop career. "

Spoken like someone who hasn't paid attention to pop music in 15 years.

"He clearly is still struggling with the loss of his mother, you can feel that in one of the interviews he has given. "

He's been doing this shit well before his mother died.

I have a soft spot for individuals like West. Yes, it often seems like the censor cop in their head is off duty, that they have their hearts on their sleeves, and they shoot themselves in the foot. But, what they say often provides a lot of food for thought.

You know, I have a lot of trouble filtering myself too - if it comes in my head, it usually comes out of my mouth - but I've never interrupted someone else's Big Moment. Calling him a douche and a jackass is an insult to feminine hygiene products and mules. He needs to lay the hell off the Hennessey and learn to recognize that other people exist and have feelings.
