Both are lunatics, but at least with Gaddafi you aren't also subjected to the god-awful, "you-betcha!" dialect and accent.

We totally need a sitcom wherein Gaddafi and two other women of a certain age, and the daffy, salty-tongued mother of one of them, decide to share a Bedouin tent in South Florida.

Gaddafi is entertaining, because it's like watching a parody of a crazy dictator. He can rant all day, and it is of little or no consequence. I mean, Isratine? That's priceless!
Palin on the other hand makes me shudder, because I know there are people here, in the United States, that actually take her seriously.
