Someone just emailed this photo that appears to show Tim Eyman holding a sign for "No On 1033," the campaign to defeat Eyman's initiative.

eyman.jpg

So I emailed Eyman: What's up with this picture?

Eyman replied: "Where'd you get it? Is there a link? Media?"

Someone sent it to me, but I can't say who without their permission. But do you have an explanation for it? Why were you holding the sign?

Eyman: "I'm writing about it right now at SoundPolitics.com - stay tuned."

Still waiting for Eyman's explanation (maybe it's a fake, maybe he's realized that I-1033 is the worst idea ever, maybe it's another publicity stunt and we're totally falling for it). In the meantime, this picture needs a caption—Slog?

UPDATE: Eyman said he was carrying the sign to protect himself from the Governor and ask her for a debate. She said no. So the explanation: He's wants publicity for himself, even if it undermines his initiative.

This initiative looks stupid, I can tell from the pixels and from having done many initiatives in my time.

It's obvious.

He flips it over and it says "Give Tim Eyman more money, gullible fools!"

Face it, he only does this because he profits from these things.

@23 - What if we just give him money to stay out of state politics? I really don't mind him or anyone having money. I mean, sure, he's a greedy asshole, but the real problem is that he does so much damage for his living.

I'm sure we could start a fund to pay Tim Eyman for every year he doesn't file an initiative. Then, after everyone's tired of paying him for nothing, there'll be enough support to just ban him outright from the democratic process.

I wonder if we could get him convicted of a felony.

"Dear greedy cumhydrants, I know you are jealous of my selfishness. Here to prove my superiority: I just realized I can't make my payments on the meager income, I mean, donations, from this year's initiative.
Please be sure to now defeat 1033 so I can reword it and run it again next year, and start the scam all over again to make enough money to finally afford that private plane. Thanks, you rich cuntly fucks. Jealousy's a disease. Get better soon, bitches."

I like @28 most, @17 a close 2nd.
