Charles, I find this post appalling and a real lame attempt at humor.
That you would take such a vicious swipe at Norm Rice without explaining why calls into question every ounce of integrity you claim to have as a journalist, and more importantly, as a scholar.

you wish you were the most European African in Seattle. sorry to let the wind out of your prideful sail but to most people that know you, you are still just African no matter how well-heeled, travelled, and educated you may be.

Well they way he'd like to picture himself is drinking champagne surrounded by beautiful light-skinned women...but that's is not exactly reality now is it Charles? Zimbabwe was a little euro for Africa at the time but that does not make you a European African.
