Genius Zia Mohajerjasbi the Genius

This weekend, I visited Zia Mohajerjasbi (this year's genius for film—the party for the award is happening on Nov, 13 at The Moore Theater) on the set (the roof of the Kawabe Memorial House) for the video of Macklemore's ""The Town":

Ugh, I am not into local hip hop at all but I have watched that clip far too many times in the last few minutes because it is indeed beautiful and I'm nothing if not a sucker for civic boosterism in all its wonderful forms.
