Because there aren't nearly enough vile, vulgar douchebags on MTV right now...

That was vile? Looked kinda normal (a.k.a. boring daily life) to me.

I guess it does matter where and when you grew up, eh?

MTV, continuing to identify and exploit the trends of 6 years ago.

Wait, speaking of, didn't MTV finally go off the air in 1997?

#1, you don't have to watch everything on cable, you know.

I thought "Guido" was a REALLY insulting name for Italian-Americans, equivalent to "N(etc)" for African-Americans. What did I miss?

Making a modern TV show seems to consist of finding some assholes and pointing a camera at them.

#13, Guido is an actual first name. Last I checked that's not true of the N word. "Guido" still can be insulting, like referring to all Hispanic men as "Jose" or "Pancho", but it's not as offensive as n****r.

@13: It's only insulting in that it's a gross stereotype on typical italian names.

Of course, nobody makes fun of italians like italians do.

Like the gem from my grandmother's folks that starts "Hey, did you hear about the new italian-owned flat tire service?"

@13- It refers to any greasy-haired, macho douche.

I asked my dad for 10 bucks.
He said what for?
I told him I wanted to get a Guinea Pig.
He gave me 20 bucks and told me to get a nice Irish girl.

@14: Yes, because MTV "reality shows" accurately depict life outside your insular little world.

These people are the future of America? Is this what people are being intellectually fed? Well it's clear how this came about. As children in school they were taught about "Gay Marriage", it totally destroyed them.

@13, the term Guido is really insulting. I don't think you're missing a thing. The better term here is douchebag -- why say Guido when most douchebags aren't Italian?

I'm from the south shore of Long Island, which has about the same percentage of Italian retards as Jersey. I fucking wanted to kill myself in high school. 1992 truly was a special time...an iroc z in every driveway, the scent of drakkar noir wafting through the air, and z cavaricci's as far as the eye could see.

Imagine spending every school day with 900 greasy wops dressed like this....

See "wop" is a very insulting term for Italians. "Guido" is a term for a certain subculture of white kids with lots of hair gel and sexual/gender identity issues.

Apparently lobotomies are very popular in some subcultures. It must be nice to get rid of the weight of all that IQ...
