I'd like to know why Balloon hoax parents weren't charged with the same crime, whey the Father gets a felony and the wife a misdemeanor. She made the original 911 call.

Ah...I should learn, you always need to google your own questions. Found the answer. She was charged with a lesser crime in order to avoid being deported back to Japan as a result of the more serious felony charge.

Handy practice tip: When fleeing the scene of your latest arson, it's a good idea to get rid of all of the highway safety flares in your backpack. This is no time to be thrifty.

And don't bother taking Metro to and from the scene. Reducing your carbon footprint is kind of pointless for an arsonist.

In other news, NASA's LCROSS probe impact data is out, and they just announced in a live conference that there is a "significant" amount of water ice on the moon -- the plume kicked up from the Cabeus Crater had a couple of hundred kilograms of water in it! Holy crap!

On behalf of many of my friends let me say three cheers on the Greenwood Arsonist arrest!

Let's hope it's the right guy. They've arrested the wrong person before.

cops do not get to claim reward money when performing a service they would normally perform as a part of their job.
