Sexy, Sexy, Sarah Palin on the Cover of Newsweek

Posted by on Tue, Nov 17, 2009 at 12:04 PM

She's got legs...

sara-new.jpg

The controversial politician is in hot seat again through the Newsweek cover headlines. And Sarah Palin cover photo right now is where she took for a magazine “Runners World” with her attire showing off her legs. Newsweek asked on the cover “How Do you Solve a Problem like Sarah?
Recently, Sara Palin attacked the Newsweek cover on her Facebook account. You have to ask yourself the question: is the cover really sexist, or is this another attention distraction on the part of the former Vice Presidential candidate and former Alaskan Governor?
Why is this sexist? Did someone force her to do that photo for Runners World? The right suddenly goes feminist on us when it fits their agenda.

What about this image?

Is this sexist? I'm sure Palin prefers the leggy runner image to this disorienting facial.

She's a gift from above, more like from below for the gop, but definitely from above for the DNC. She and her whole family. Laying waste to the repubicans by their mere presence. God love em!

Her legs are so unnaturally tan, it looks like she's wearing nylons with those sneakers. I wouldn't put it past her to do that either.

Hate her politics, but she is definitely hot. And it's a pretty cheap shot on the part of Newsweek. The media does not need to go out of its way to make her look stupid, she can do that all by herself. All this will do is amp up the rights belief in the left wing media bias. Dumb.

Her top half looks like it was pasted on somebody's legs.

Nylons, running shorts... Wait, is she going to be the new spokesperson for Hooters?

Is "draped over barstool" on the list of proper ways to display the American flag?

Nude-colored pantyhose, especially with shorts, should be outlawed.

(I'm looking at you, Hooters!)

As a serious fan of The Sound of Music, I really resent the allusion to the song from the play on the Newsweek cover. There's absolutely nothing in common between Sarah and Maria. Shame on you, Newsweek!

Pantyhose and shorts? Seriously? Seriously? Is that OK in Alaska, but it's not OK here in America.

Ditto all the gasps of horror at pantyhose with shorts (AND runners!).

Although I gotta say, nude pantyhose in general has always been a lame idea to me. What's the point? The shine always gives you away.

If you don't want to expose your bare legs but can only commit to a colour that pretends otherwise, wear pants.

"How do you solve a problem like Maria?" was certainly pretty sexist (The answer being, marry her off to the Captain...)

If that cover photo showed a democrat or a moderate republican, the right wingnuts would be screaming murder about the flag being tossed on a chair. Speaking of the American flag, where's her lapel pin?

The American flag looks very sad and limp. I wonder why

I love how the so called Conservatives mis-use the flag. Usage such as ;) the above pic is prohibited by the flag code. Way to keep it classy Conservatards.

I don't really understand why she's upset about them using a photo that she posed for.

Classy pic all the way to the American flag draped on the barstool to her thigh-revealing attire. Granted, couldn't NewsWeek use a different picture than Runner's World? To be honest, I was shocked! That is that NewsWeek is still publishing.

Did you bump your head, did your meds kick in, did someone steal your password or is your psychosis finally forcing some sense into you?

I'm not a Sarah Palin fan,I think she looks good with shorts and pantyhose.
I wear Shorts and Pantyhose myself and don't see anything wrong with it. It makes my legs look and feel better. I've see more and more younger girls/ladies wearing Hose with shorts as well. As a matter of fact, this past weekend my husband and I noticed 3 different girls at the local mall wearing them. I have also rec'd some nice remarks from men, and women as well. Women ask wear I purchahed the hose I have on, and men just plain love the look. So does my husband.

God - you people are morons. It's not entirely clear that she even IS wearing pantyhose in the sexist Newsweek photo. Even if she is - it was just for purposes of the photo shoot - to enhance the look of her legs. That's one of the great qualities of hosiery - so it is no problem if she is wearing hose. Newsweek presented this photo on their cover in order to make Palin appear as if she is a bubble headed sex object. That WAS their only reason for doing it. You people are brainwashed if you think magazines like Time or Newsweek are devoted to anthing other than left wing propaganda.
